After the device and brand have already been selected, a
digital remote control should appear on your screen.
Many devices may have more than one IR code, you may have to
verify that the remote control displayed on the App works properly; press
some of the displayed remote control buttons and verify the device is
controlled.
If it works, click on on the App's
lower-left corner and go to the next step, otherwise select
on the
App's lower-right corner, then press some buttons and check if the
device is controlled.
Repeat this process until a code works.
If none
of the codes works, please press the back arrow until you reach the
App's main menu and skip to the
SETTING UP NON RECOGNIZED INFRARED DEVICES section.
Your device is ready to be controlled. You may change the device's
name by clicking on the small edit pen next to the current device's
name. This is useful if you have multiple devices of the same type.
NOTE: If a specific button of the newly added digital remote control is not
working. you may manually copy it from the button signal of the
original remote control.
Some remote controls may also interact with
their device using different, non-IR signals, such as radio waves, and
those buttons will not work.
To copy one specific button from the original remote control to the
digital remote control, please follow the steps below:
On the App, select the SRC
Once you see all the added devices, select the one you wish to edit.
On the upper-right corner, select .
Select Button.
On the App, press and hold the button you wish to assign the
signal to. For TVs, there are more buttons available if you click on
the button or the button.
A pop-up message will open requesting you to aim closely the
original remote control at the SRC, and to press the desired
button on the original remote control.
The pop-up message will
close in 30 seconds if no signal is detected. If a signal is detected,
the App will display a "Detected Signal" message.
